Fall at the beach in Seabrook

We managed to get back up to the cottage last weekend.  After renting it out the entire summer we were eager to check in on the property and get stocked up with a few touches our renters might need for cooler days like blankets and some kitchen items for holiday cooking.  It was a special treat that my daughter and I had the weekend together – just the two of us. We took advantage of the warm sunny days and hiked the trails, went swimming,  had lunch out at Mill 109 so my daughter could have her favorite – clam chowder and watched a few too many episodes of Fixer Upper –cable’s a treat when we’re at the cottage!   If you haven’t made a trip to the beach in the fall there are a few events coming up this month – Oct 7-11 is The International Beach-combing Conference and for Halloween weekend they have  events planned at Crestwood Park for the afternoon and a costume parade later in the day.  The town is also hosting an adult only costume party.  The locals and businesses in the town give out candy and if you are up for the weekend you can hand out candy too.   The neighborhoods are walk able so it’s perfect for the little ones to experience Trick or Treating in a safe environment.  For more details check out the Seabrook events page SB-street3-rect
